Course Overview
This course is suitable for Floor Wardens, Area Wardens, Deputy Wardens, and all personnel who are part of an Emergency Control Organisation. It is ideal for workplaces seeking to meet mandatory WHS emergency management obligations and maintain a safe and prepared work environment.
Participants will gain an understanding of workplace emergency procedures, alarm systems, evacuation processes, and how to assist in managing emergencies in accordance with WHS legislative requirements and Australian Standards. The training also prepares wardens to confidently support Chief Fire Wardens and emergency services during incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, evacuations, and other workplace emergencies.Course Outline

Course Requirements
This is an open entry course with no prerequisite qualifications. To ensure you complete the course successfully, the following entry requirements apply:
Participants must:
- Be aged 18 years or over
- Have the ability to read and write English
- Have sound language and literacy skills (at least Year 10 English, or equivalent)
- Able to commit to the course duration and time commitment
- Learners must have access to a computer and the internet
- Must supply a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
