Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the nationally recognised BSB51319 – Diploma of Work Health and Safety qualification and Statement of Attainment of ICAM Lead Investigator course.

The BSB51319 – The Diploma of WHS and ICAM lead investigator course will build on your existing experience in work health and safety, and teach you additional skills to manage WHS hazards, risks and incident investigations.  You’ll learn to contribute to systematic management of WHS risks; develop, implement, and maintain WHS management systems, as well as helping to implement emergency procedures.  Overall, you’ll learn skills to manage and investigate WHS hazards, risks, incidents, and tools to a high standard.

Course Duration

Learners will be required to undertake 10 units of study including 5 core units and 5 elective units. Course units are delivered sequentially and should be completed over a 12-month period. The units in each stream have been selected to give you the most comprehensive overview of that business area at a management level.
