Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the nationally recognised CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

The CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification will build your knowledge and skills to support children’s wellbeing, and development in the context of an approved learning framework.

After successfully completing CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. you may like to enrol in other business service diploma courses to develop your leadership and business management skills.

Course Duration 

Learners will be required to undertake 15 units of study including 12 core units and 3 elective units. Course units are delivered as clustered modules and should be completed over the 12-month period. The units have been selected to give you the most comprehensive overview of Early Childhood Education and Care roles and legislative requirement.

Note 

• To achieve this qualification, you must complete a total of at least 280 hours of work in your chosen regulated children’s education and care service in Australia as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. The total number of hours may be applied collectively across all units of competency that include the requirement for workplace hours. . It is the responsibility of each Learner to organise their own work placement.

Learners will be issued online access to the specific unit of competency through Learning Management System and with the learner assessment pack as the course progresses in accordance with the units of competency sequence.

Right Choice Training will ensure that assessment is conducted in the workplace or simulated workplace environment and that the appropriate resources are accessible to all learners to ensure demonstration of competency. Upon online submission of your assessment, the assessor will provide detail feedback and where required, you will be provided with opportunities to adjust and resubmit your assessment tasks.

Right Choice Training recognises Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) which takes into account the knowledge and skills you have already gained through your previous education and work history, attributing this to your enrolled qualification course.
